Preparation
- Create Far, Middle and Front Sends 2 Times, 1 for ER and 1 for Tail (3 x 2 = 6 Convolution Reverbs if you want to Care of Each Send Amount, otherwise route All to same Tail Mix)
- but Distance and Tail Mix should be Routed Independently (Tail Mix can be another IR)
- Pre-Delay of 50ms is a Distance of around 2.50 meter (42ms is around 5 meter & 32 at around 9.50 meter)
- Strings are about 2.50 to 3.5 Meters away from the Conductor (then Woodwinds around 4 to 5 meters , then Brass at around 7 to 8 meters, then Percussion at around 9.50 meters, Misc Things at 18 meters, Overheads at around 15 meters)
Routing
1) One IR Send with only ER and the correct Pre-Delay to build the Distance w Todd AO Room for Example (Tail Mix set to Zero)
2) One IR Send with only the Tail Mix adjusted to Material with Bricasti Concert Hall for Example (Pre-Delay set to Zero)
3) use as Pre-Fader to stay independent of any DAW Level Change (means the Room stays the same whether you stand near the Stage of Far away from the Stage)
Pre Delay Settings
1) Front Reverb Pre-Delay Only = Set to 50ms (2.50 meter), Size rather big (150). Blend out the ER Tail Mix (0), in Direct Insert set Mix to 70%
2) Middle Reverb Pre-Delay Only = Set to 42ms (5meter), Size rather big (150). Blend out the ER Tail Mix (0), in Direct Insert set Mix to 70%
3) Far Reverb Pre-Delay Only = Set to 32ms (9.50 meter), Size rather big (150). Blend out the ER Tail Mix (0), in Direct Insert set Mix to 70%
4) For the Tail Part, Set ER Part to either to Zero (cause you already have Done the ER) or Set it to 40ms so the Tail occurs after the ER, Tail Size rather moderate (100), now the ER Tail Mix to fully 100ms, in Direct Insert set Mix to 30%, Low Notch at 170 Hz with -7.5 & + 5 at 5000Hz, Adjust the ER Tail Split Parameter to 100
