- then Prepares Carefully All Effects EQ / Compression / Reverb / Delay Before he Starts Mixing
- then Sets All Faders to Zero and Starts to Mix Drums and Vocals
- Vocals are then Constantly Playing Along as the Reference Against All Instruments
- Then Each Instrument with EQ and Compression
- One Balance is Right he Puts Everything to the Back with Positioning /Reverb / Delay but Avoid Re-EQ
- a Lot of Compression but in Parallel, e.g. he Sends Out Guitar to 2 Channels and Compresses One Heavily and the Other Stays Clean (HiFi) and then Blend Them Back Together (i.e. Today you can Do this in the Mix with Wet/Dry)
- Slight Doubling Vocal with Slap Delay, Tight Doubling Vocal with Slap Delay, a Longer Delay Maybe with Some Repeat, Small Room and Some Sort of Longer Type of Reverb for Space (EMT Plates or Digital Reverb), Those are then Panned to Different Positions
