• Used to Measure Audio Sound Energy, i.e. Things as Power, Intensity, Sound Pressure Level

• Since Human Hearing is whether Linear in Loudness Nor in Frequency, the “dB” is the Unit to Give us a Hold

• It is Rather a “Relative Value” to Display How Far we are Above or Below a Certain Reference that Indicates what 0dB means

• Notice that 0dB (what the DAW´s Faders Middle Default Position is Showing you)  is Not the same as 0dBFS (what the Digital Recording Scale Meter is Showing you)
