Version 1
1) First Add a Tonal Balance Instance to See How the Mix Behaves
2) Insert a EQ and Low Pass at Around 100Hz / 12dB Oct, i.e. this Reflects the Missing Low End on the iPhone (iPhone Cuts Below 100Hz)
3) Now Add a Saturation Tool on the Sub Bass and Add Upper Bass Harmonics while Leave the Original Sub Bass Untouched (e.g. Free Softube Saturation Tool with “Keep Below” Enabled)
Version 2
1) Again with a Good Saturation Tool, but Add EQ Before and After Saturation Tool
2) Boost with Pre EQ (EQ Before Saturation Tool) by 6dB at Around 400Hz to 600Hz, i.e. Where the Sub Still has Some Information (Characterful Frequencies)
3) Then Do the Opposite with the EQ After Saturation Tool, i.e. Dip by 6dB at Around 400Hz to 600Hz (Very Same Frequency and Gain of Course), so that you are Even Again
4) Now Start Playing with More Extreme Saturation Settings
5) The Idea is to Enhance the Weak Harmonics Before Going into Saturation Tool and the 2nd EQ does Just Dip so you are Not Boosting in Volume
Version 3
1) Layer with a Synth, i.e. Add a Saturated Sine but Filter Out the Very Lows to Only Add Sheen on the Given Sub Bass that Cuts Through the Phone
2) Not iPhone Related, but Of Course the Opposite is True when a Bass is Too Weak in the Bottom, Add a Sine at 30Hz – 40Hz to make the Trap / EDM etc. Fuller
