Clipper Tips

1) Increase Loudness of Mixes = Insert Clipper Before Limiter

2) Instrument Groups = Smooth Out Resonances / Peaks when Instruments Come Together

3) Boost Sustain of Drums = Increase Knee, Use Soft Clipping

4) Add Warmth to Vocals = Use FET Clipper if Available, Put Clipper After a Vocal Compressor (1176 or LA with Fast Attack / Release)

5) 808 = Use Diode Mode and Overfold
