- Instead Adding Reverb to Existing Snare, you Create a Duplicate the Snare and Use this for the Reverb Part, i.e. Leave the Original Snare Untouched
1) Create a Duplicate of the Original the Snare
2) Insert Add a Reverb with 100% Wet
- i.e. the Idea is to have the Original Snare with the Impact while the Duplicate Only Provides a Wet Signal that is then Mixed to the Original
- while you Could also Use a Send, in this Case Inserting Reverb Directly is More Easy
- Start with a Decay of 3s to 4s, Pre Delay About 2.5ms and Go for a Quite High / Brilliant Reverb
3) Dampen the Low Frequencies
- i.e. Use a HP Filter Prior the Reverb or Use the Filter Options Inside the Reverb
- Try Cut the Lows of the Snare Up to 2kHz
4) Now you can Easily Mix the Reverb Only Snare with the Original Snare Since it is a Separate Track
