Remove DC Offset

General

• Remember to Remove DC Offset Prior Mastering, i.e. + / – 0.25% can Already Eat into the Limiter

• Use Especially Before Analog Gear / Limiting / Loudness Normalization

• Notice that Tiny DC Offset of + / – 0.10% is Usually Harmless

• Notice that a Linear Phase EQ can Do a Cleaner Job in Mastering than RX or WL

a) Check DC Offset in RX Waveform Statistics

b) Open the De Hum Module in Static Mode

• Notice that Some WL Loudness Normalizer Presets have DC Offset Removal Included

a) Open File in WL Audio Editor

b) Go to “Process” and Choose “Remove DC Offset”
