– A Pitch is based on the Vibration of any Sound per Second and is written in Hertz as Frequency (for Example C3 at 261.626 Hertz)
– Improving the Intonation is Essential to Keep your Instrument in Tune or Tune it to Another Instrument, i.e. Tuning as Closely as Possible to a Reference Pitch
– A Trick is to Listen for “Beating” and Make it to Disappear which Happens the Closer 2 Notes are in Tune to One Another (i.e. Match the Speed of Oscillation between 2 Instruments)
Tuning Method
1) First, Listen to the Reference Pitch Given by a Pitch Pipe, Tuning Fork or any Other Instrument
2) Try to Match the Reference Pitch as Closely as Possible by Tuning your Instrument
3) Then Determine whether you are Sharp, Flat or in Tune to the Reference Pitch
