– Stands for Loudness Unit and 1 Loudness Unit is approx. the same as 1dB

– you might say that this Program is 2 LU Louder than this Program (but its Average Volume is for Example -12dB FS = LUFS)
– If you look at a Loudness History Meter, Measure a Program and Drop the Program by 1 dB , the Loudness History Meter will also reflect the Curve 1 dB below
