Early Reflections = -3dB Since ER have to Travel and Come Back with Less Energy, but Since ER have to Travel Less Far than the Direct Sound the Energy is Pretty Close (Only Minus the Absorption)

Late Reflections = -4dB Since LR have to Travel and Come Back with Less Energy, but Since LR are Already Starting at the Back of the Room (Similar to ER) They have to Travel Less Far than the Direct Sound the Energy is Pretty Close (Only Minus the Absorption)

• the Closer a Sound Source is the Larger is the Relative Volume Change between Direct Sound / ER / LR

• or the Farther a Sound Source is the Smaller is the Relative Volume Change between Direct Sound / ER / LR

• thus to Make Sound Sound Closer you Reduce the ER and LR, Viceversa Increase ER and LR to Make a Sound Appear Farther Away
