Good question (You are in good shape today). I work fast because a Mix / Master has to be done fast (as tired ears result in a tired mix).
In any case you can request up to 2 Revisions of the Mix / Master if you have something very specific, or i must agree on non optimal results from a technical point of view.
Take below examples as a breakdown of a common project.
Mixing 1 Song (up to 35 Tracks). Gives me 3 Hours of Work = 270.- CHF.
You Send:
- 8 Vocal Lines (Main and BG Vocals)
- 10 Drum Lines (Kick, Snare, HiHats, Percussion)
- 3 Bass Lines (Sub, Bass Layer 1, Bass Layer 2)
- 6 Synth Lines (Leads, Pads)
- 6 FX Lines (Risers, Effects)
You Get:
- 1 HQ Wave Stereo File and up to 5 STEMS (all as HQ Files in 32 Bit Floating Point at Your Original Sample Rate)
- Properly prepared for the Mastering Engineer
Mastering 1 Song. Gives me 1 Hour of Work = 90.- CHF.
You Send:
- 1 Stereo File
You Get:
- All required formats (HQ Wave / AAC / mp3)
- Ready to be uploaded to streaming services
STEM Mastering (up to 5 STEMS). Gives me 2 Hours of Work = 180.- CHF.
You Send:
- Drums STEM
- Bass STEM
- Vocals STEM
- Instruments STEM
- FX STEM
You Get:
- 1 Stereo File with all required formats (HQ Wave / AAC / mp3)
- Ready to upload to streaming services
Well, if You are a nerd and want me to Master from Multiple STEMS, then this goes back into Mixing territory. Working with 1 File is Different than working with 5 Files.
But chill, i am very experienced in doing this, understand You and i won’t charge You 5 times more. In general i want 20.- CHF more per STEM. Be aware that 5 STEMS is the Limit.
Mastering 1 Track the Default is CHF 100.-
- Mastering 2 STEMS = is 120.- CHF
- Mastering 3 STEMS = is 140.- CHF
- Mastering 4 STEMS = is 160.- CHF
- Mastering 5 STEMS = is 180.- CHF
Preparing the STEMS properly is Your Job, prior sending to me. Recommended STEM Groups are:
