Remix Production Process – Step by Step Guide
- You Contact me here, tell me what its all about and include links to Your Original Song You want to have a Remix.
- I guarantee to reply within 48h.
- Practice has shown that a personal Video Call is often desired. You choose.
- The entire process to the final delivery takes a total of 14 days. Starting from the moment i have Your Original Files (days i don’t have an answer from You or days until the money arrives are excluded).
- A contract is signed based on our agreement. The intellectual property rights still belong to You, except for the new parts i have played in. We share Royalty Rights or You do decide for a Buyout option.
- You send me the Fee in CHF.- within 7 days to my Bank Account (Switzerland). All payments must be executed in CHF, i.e. money must arrive in CHF (Swiss Francs). I don’t accept to pay any extra currency exchange fees. The end amount must match exactly the amount we agreed on or i do nothing at all.
- When the money arrives i create the Remix based on our common goals and i send it to You within 7 days.
- You have the right to do 2 revisions.
- I do the revisions as soon as i got Your definitive Feedback and deliver the revised versions within 7 days.
- After You can upload / release the track. It must contain “Remix by Yendo Starritz” after the Original song name. If we share the Royalties then i register the song at my local PRO (which is SUISA in Switzerland). So do You in Your country. This Both has to be reflected when uploading on the Distributors/ Aggregator side (e.g. Music-Hub / Distrokid / CD Baby / Landr / TuneCore etc.). If you go for a full Buyout then i register nothing (as You pay me more in Advance).
- Delivery typically includes HQ WAV Files in 48Hz / 32 Bit Floating Point. Includes Up to 5 STEMS. That is Drums STEM / Bass STEM / Vocals STEM / Instruments STEM / FX STEM.
