- Hearing is a Chain of Several Steps, i.e. Sound Reception -> Transmission -> Conversion into Electrical Nerve Impulses -> Signal Processing in the Brain
- so What we Hear is Not Real if we Listen to HP or Speakers
- there are 4 Things to Consider for Creating Space:
a) More Reverb = Farther Away, i.e. Less Direct Signal and More Diffusion
b) Distant Sounds are Quieter
c) More Distant = More Muffled, i.e. Less High Frequencies
d) Further Away = Narrower Image
- Combine the Effect of Loudness and Reverb, e.g. Push a Signal Further Back by Make the Signal Quieter and the Reverb Louder
- also a Positive High Shelf will Make a Signal Closer and Viceversa a Negative High Shelf will Make a Signal Further Muffled and thus Sounds Further Away,
- Remember the Further Away a Sound is the Narrower the Stereo Image
