Some Mastering Tips

in

1) Don’t Overload a Single Limiter, i.e. Use a Clipper Before or 2 Limiters in Series

    • also Put the Limiter After the Clipper and Not the Clipper After the Limiter

    2) Don’t Compress Sides Too Much or Push Over Compressed Side Info

    • also Don’t Over Compress Low End and Top End Too Much in General, i.e. Compress Mainly Mid Band Frequencies and in Mid Mode

    3) Avoid Massive Static EQ Moves in Mastering and Make Use of Dynamic EQs in Mastering

    4) Try Imaging Plugins After the Limiter

    • i.e. Use Stereo Imager After You Set the Limiter and After the Limiter to Avoid Bringing Forward Too Much Side Info via Limiter
