- Do that at Pre Mix Stage, i.e. First Clean Up Each Track that will be Used in the Mixing Session
1) Add a Bell Filter with a Q of 6 and Boost 15dB
2) Scroll Through Frequency Range from Low to Top and Stop when Something Sounds Strange
- i.e. Trust Your First Instinct and Stop on that Frequency
3) Now Check if the Q Needs to be Broader or Narrower
- i.e. if Broaden the Q Affects Nice Sounding Frequencies Go Back to a More Narrow Q
- eventually Solo Filter and Adjust Exact Frequency
4) If you Got the Frequency and Q, Set Gain of Filter Back to Zero to Recalibrate Your Ears
- i.e. Listen to the Original Signal Again
5) Now Start Attenuating the Gain of the Prepared Filter Until it Cleans Up the Spectrum for Good (Without Destroying Anything)
6) Continue the Same Process with a New Filter Node
