Buss EQ Band Distribution Ideas

• i.e. if we Assign Groups to Low / Mid / High Bands, What Group Catches What Band 

• also Where to Place the Vocals in Terms of Level in 3dB Steps

Drum and Bass Mid Signal

• Kick Catches Low Band

• Clap / Snare Catches Mid Band

• Hi Hat / Clap / Snare Catches High Band

Drum and Bass Side Signal

• Cymbals Catches High and Mid Band

• i.e. Sparkle to the Sides

Vocal

• Vocal Level can be at 3 Spots (Quasi 3dB Steps):

1) Rather Below Water (Quiet)

2) Middle (Half Way in the Water)

3) Above Water (Loud)

• i.e. Raise Vocals Until RMS of the Song is About 1.5dB Louder = Above Water (Loud)

• Raise Vocals Until RMS of the Song is About 1dB Louder = Half Way in the Water (Middle)

• Raise Vocals Until RMS of the Song is About 0.5dB Louder = Below Water (Quiet)
