Fix Kick vs Bass Idea

1) First Decide if Kick or Bass Goes to the Lowest Frequencies

2) Tune the Kick to the Song and Manifest the Oomph of the Kick (You can also Try Waves Torque for Tuning)

3) SC Bass by the Kick via a DBX 

• but Make the GR Needle Barely Move, i.e. Bass Just Dips a Little Upon Each Kick Drum Hit

4) Use the Ozone “Low End” Plugin on the Overall Mix to Further Nail the Kick <-> Bass Relation

– 0 to 147 Hz, Punchy Mode and Contrast Slider to 11.5%

5) If Done Well you can Even Push the Overall Mix 1dB to 2dB Around 50Hz
