Perfect Pitch 

– If you Hear a Pitch and Immediately Name it 

– without any Reference Point

– is Rare but can be Developed to a Certain Extent

Relative Pitch 

– your Mind Needs to Reference a Heard Pitch to Another Pitch First, Before Name it 

– You are Capable of Hearing the Interval, but you need to Transpose whats in your Mind to the Correct Key of Song from the Relative Pitch

– i.e. you Need to Figure Out First the Exact Reference Out from the Given Absolute Pitch

– can be Developed at any Time with Consequent Ear Training

– Some Say that Relative Pitch is More Useful as you Recognize Relationships which Helps for Songwriting or Improvisation etc.
